I think that not so much a Strong GM but a GM that is a Strong Teacher. Dvoretsky for instance would probably convey better ideas to program especially in the area of what the Program should be focusing on. I think that programs can only get so far on just Speed as i'm sure many Top programers on this board have mentioned a time or two. If a Program focused on Some happy medium under 10 Candidates instead of looking at every Move I do know that programs aren't Brute force totally , yet 1 Million + nodes are wasted seeing how a program is looking at moves that shouldn't even be considered in the first place. The problem is how are you supposed to program how to do that properly? I think it can be done. The Brain has been doing it for a long time some better than others.
