maybe it's just because you don't know the standard plans in this position? for
white, it is to play on the kingside, not on the b-file. h4-h5 followed by f4-f5
is the classic way to play this. white cannot attack the pawn on b6 easily (e.g.
Ne7-c8 protects it against 2 rooks on the b-file), and his pieces don't have
much space to maneuver on the queenside.
