I think that the important tournament is the ssdf and not the championship.
Being better in special preperation against the opponent is more important
in tournaments like wccc.
I believe that the shredder team does better opening preperation in choosing an
opening that the opponent does not know to play well.

I think that one of the things that may be more fair in wccc is if it is
possible not to let the computers not to know the opponent.

It means that the programs shuld be ready to play without knowing their
opponents and only after the game starts the opponent will become known.

Of course it is impossible to do it completely in the swiss system but at least
it is possible to do it in the first rounds.
