I still own my ChessMachine (not in any PC, just in its box).

In its day it was quite strong but, even better, its GUI was superior to any
other PC chess app's, by far.  The ChessMachine of 1990 (guesstimate of the
year) had a much better GUI than the much more recent, latest version of MChess
Pro (for example), IMHO.

Also it came with two separate "engines" and the one that was thrown in as the
extra one turned out to be a little stronger than the "main" one, IIRC.  (I
guess the extra one grew up to be TheKing that's in ChessMaster these days.)
