Hypothesis 1: No program in the history of the Palm OS has ever been so "smart"
(there are many great Palm apps, but the vast majority are data crunchers).

Hypothesis 2: Chess Tiger 14.9 for Palm OS is not only the strongest chess
program for Palm OS (that's obvious), but is stronger than most anybody could
have reasonably conceived possible from such a CPU just 1.5 years ago.

Hypothesis 3: Looking at Chess Tiger for DOS, Chess Tiger 14 for Windows, Gambit
Tiger 2 for Windows, Chess Tiger for Palm, and the likely strength of the
upcoming Chess Tiger 15 for Windows, one can very reasonably claim that
Christopher Theron is, despite his protestations to the contrary, the single
best chess programmer in the world.
