Am I unique here? I played for 1 month on ICC, several weeks on Playchess, and
a few times on Yahoo, and NEVER ONCE did I sense that my opponent was using a
computer. In every game (over 100 total) both sides -- especially my side! --
made several obviously human errors and often outright blunders.

I repeatedly read posts about cheating. I haven't played online in a few
months. Has it gotten much worse recently, was I just lucky, or is the cheating
overstated?
