Yes, in my opinion you should definitely install all of the Shredder 6 upgrades found on the ChessBase site. One of the upgrades fixes a bug in the original Shredder 6 engine. This should make it stronger. The other two are the Shredder Paderborn engines (aka Shredder 6.02). One of them is for the ChessBase GUI and the other is for the Shredder Classic GUI. If I am not mistaken, both of the Paderborn engines are of equal strength, the only difference is the interface in which they run (ChessBase or Classic). All you have to do is download all three executable files and run them. They do all the work for you.
