hi Uri,
   Take it easy, my friend!
   Most people don't make statements that they believe are eternally true,
absolute in all respects.  You demean yourself by presuming the illogical, and
then refuting it.  And if you *really* think that is what they meant, then you
demean them, at least in your own mind.

   Don't take all statements literally, just so you can refute them with logic.
