Read between the lines.  I don't think Mike would have a chance if
this was it's middlegame full width depth!   This probably means
that in some of the endgames it was getting 30 ply or that its
deepest line was 30 ply deep with extensions and captures.

This statement carries little information so I simply read it to
mean Deep Thought was looking very deep.
