Technically, a draw play is where the linemen pass block for a short time (my old high school team pass blocked for two seconds), and the quarterback acts like he is going to pass. At the last second, he hands off to a running back, and the linemen then run block. Faking a running play and then throwing the ball is known as a play action pass, and is basically the exact opposite of a draw. Otherwise, I understand and agree with your football analogies. Now you know why a teacher once referred to me in class as anal-retentive. :)
