Technically, a draw play is where the linemen pass block for a short time (my
old high school team pass blocked for two seconds), and the quarterback acts
like he is going to pass. At the last second, he hands off to a running back,
and the linemen then run block.

Faking a running play and then throwing the ball is known as a play action pass,
and is basically the exact opposite of a draw.

Otherwise, I understand and agree with your football analogies. Now you know why
a teacher once referred to me in class as anal-retentive. :)
