It works with a couple of exceptions. One is that the thematic sound option produces no sounds at all. the simple sound option works. Second, the copy contents function to copy a position evaluation to the Windows clipboard does not work. Also, the strength of the Chessmaster default personality shows 2852 on a 1.9Gig P4. My P3 933 running ME shows 2835. The comparative number of positions searched per time unit appears to be about 25% faster on the XP machine. It seems to me that the performance should be better than that since the CPU speed is virtually doubled. Steve
