How many of you feel that even a strong IM under 40/2hrs could give a good 2 game match (only looking at standard time controls) Anand is what 2795! come on, someone his strength Knows how to prepare, I would asume. If a human player only gave Anand 2 games and the games were the same ones, what would conclusion be?Look at the games, what weaknesses? what holes? if there was know name beside the games only Anands, Could you tell it was a Program playing aginst him? How many times have you heard "computer programs wouldnt win a game against GMs in standard time controls"? I heard it said "the top programs would be lucky to get 1 draw in 10 against a GM" and the saying was for an average GM. (anyone else here/read the same ?) Its not just the fact of the draw but the fact that the program played 2 hard fought games it wasnt like it "lucked out" of a losing position with a "Magical Tactic" it played and hung in there.(my thoughts) Thanks. :))
