Zarkov 4.2 is part of MasterChess 98, the Essentia successor. See e.g. http://www.bookup.com/ for further details. MasterChess 98 is a Windows V3.x based database and Zarkov is the analysis engine. You can also play against Zarkov in the MasterChess 98 environment, but that's all. Because its main purpose is the analysis part, many of the features usually available in a chess program are missing. Manfred
