Torstein, >As a long time Pocket PC user I hope that Palm will come up with a product that >give long battery life, a lot of computing power, a very attractiv price and >for the first time a screen with a usable resolution. If so I may switch!! I have switched already! I had a Palm III then an iPAQ then I've upgraded to a M515. For me I value long battery life (I can be away for a week at a time) and portability as top priority. The iPAQ was not giving me either - it was too big for my jacket pocket never mind my shirt pocket. My iPAQ did have 64 Mb and the battery would barely last a long haul flight, which was annoying. Also, if you run the iPAQ's battery down and leave it for a week without recharging (as I did) you'll find that all of the memory is blank and you need to reinstall everything!! As regards the screen - my M515's screen is as good as the iPAQ's although not as high a resolution. >In my view competition bennefit us all. Just try to imagine what kind of Palms >you would have if there was not for the better Pocket PC alternative I agree that competition is good. It depends what you're looking for but I'm not sure that the Palms have ever been second to the Pocket PC. IMHO the Pocket PC advocates are weighing features higher than functionality. Again IMO the Palm wins when it comes to all round useability!! Regards, Steve
