If you talking about SF
I have one SF book in which they did talk about the black hole just behind mars
After which the speed of the rockets increased enormously
And the usual rockets could fly with the speed of light

There is always a posibilety that there is a blackhole in an project you are
studing.

(But would you turn a student down if he came up with an idea which might be the
key(The blackhole) to the problem?)
Regards Marc
