Saturday August 01 1998 approximately 8:02pm EST USA time Hello everybody! My name is Eric D. Bautista and I want to say a warm "hello" to everyone. I am interested in programming my very own chess playing program. I have absolutely no background in Computer Science nor Computer Languages so I will need a lot of cheering up and someone to "talk to" from all you experts in programming chess. My first chess-playing program will be called "Boomer 1.0". Do you know if anybody else has that name for a chess-playing program already and especially if the name "Boomer" falls under some legal protection as a name? ? ?
