Maybe there were even 3 (if the "Platinum" edition was different), but 2 at
least. The first was called "Virtual Chess for Windows" (c) 1994-95 WV 1.00 and
was Win 3.11 compatible, too. The GUI was very similar to ...II (which had some
GUI improvements though).

No, my results with the DOS version were much worse (last tests I did were on
P133, i.e. 80 points less in LCT II). But these were test positions only. Maybe
the difference in gameplay was smaller.
