In ChessBase 7.0 (probably very similar to ChessBase Light) it's easy:

In the games list of the complete database, *or* in any search/filter result,
just press the *statistics button* (looks like a little bar chart). Then, choose
"game information". This brings exactly the infos you listed below, and in
addition to that (if some of the games contain elo numbers), the number of rated
games, opp. elo average and elo performce for white and black.

(The same button in the *players index* creates another type of statistics:
results per opponent, per tournament, and percentage per ECO opening, for the
player.)

According to a CB 6.0 manual, it had that statistics already. So, ChessBase
light has them most probably too (it's based on CB 6.0). Maybe the button looks
a bit different.

The opening report is more for the research of particular opening variations
(some statistics, but also references to example games, typical move
sequences...).
