We organized _all_ of the events for the first 10+ years of computer
chess.  We organized 25 ACM events, and the early WCCC events.  So I suppose
we did "OK" in that regard.  Just look at where the original charter members
of the ICCA itself came from.  And where _most_ of the computer chess programs
came from.
