I have never used NT (in fact, I don't think I have even seen a PC running
NT), so I can't comment on this.

If you are talking about W95, this is definitely wrong.  It is easy to make
shortcut icons on the W95 desktop which start Rebel, Hiarcs and cg5dos with
big hash tables.
