The quantity of new material on
the CCR site has declined precipitously in the last 4-6 months, and in my
opinion the site is no longer "similar" to or as interesting as the old printed
reports. For example, there were only two new articles on the site in July. One
was a product review by Komputer Korner and the other was a review of a
different product by IM Kaufman (whose last prior article was in January, so he
does not contribute "a lot of material"). The only article I found in June was
a copy of the SSDF rating list and the related SSDF commentary. Also, there have
been no "Subscriber Feedback" comments since April (ten months ago there was an
average of at least one or two "Subscriber Feedback" comments per week).

On the other hand, much of the material formerly
found on the CCR site ( especially subscriber comments) is now found on this
site. Of course this makes me wonder what ICD has in mind for the future, since
it seems infeasible to run a site with a limited amount of material for a $25
fee, while simultaneously offering free access to a site with far more material
and very similar (but not identical) subject matter.
