I think you estimated Genius 1 too highly . From Genius 1 to Genius 2 there was
a _huge_ advance. And again from Genius 2 to Genius 3 although not that extreme.
Then the rest of the Genius engines were of very similar strength.

It shows a flaw in the SSDF list IMHO. Look at Genius 4 ratings on SSDF on 486 -
Chess Tiger for the Palm is without any chance against it to my experience ( I
played some more but decided not to post because there was nothing new) . Then
look at the still rather low Genius rating. The problem is that the 486 programs
are not active anymore while the others inflate their rating somehow playing in
a limitted pool on faster hardware( I won't discuss this, I hope the idea is
understandable).
