Tom,

You probably know it already, but there is a Delphi component with TSCP in it as
engine/legality checker. In Delphi (or C++ Builder) you can just drop the
graphical board on a form, and it plays chess. It is a nice component, you can
set all sorts of properties and write handlers for all possible events. For
someone who wants to create a GUI for his engine very quickly in Delphi or C++
Builder it would be ideal. Good clear board & pieces (Fritz pieces).

I don't know if the component is used a lot. I don't (wrote my own) but still
it's fine work. BTW I learned a lot from your TSCP source.
