It is possible to get XP's running stable in a dual processor board. I have 2 dual processor machines one with 1800+ XP's and one with 1900+ MP's and they are both running absolutely stable. In the past the only difference between the MP's and the XP's was that the MP's were verified by AMD for dual CPU operation and the XP's were not. Later AMD started cutting the last bridge on (L5) to disable dual CPU operation on the XP processors. It is possible to short this bridge again to get the XP's running in a dual configuration. I know people who have actually done this without any problems. You can also take a look at the following URL: www.hardwarezone.com/articles/print.hwz?cid=2&aid=393 Regards Joost
