I completely disagree, first of all, all opponents do not "know" that they are playing a computer, so often times they will play an attacking line that isn't advisable against a computer, or just further they wont be attempting to play anti computer chess. Even if this was the case, if i let almost any of my programs think for three straight days, to send off my move, i'm certain it would have a very high master postal rating. In fact I know a of a certain B player who plays e-mail postal chess, and has a rating over 2400, and i also know his computer generates the moves, and he is only using a P133mhz. He lets his puter think for about a day, walks in says yep i agree and then emails the move.
