Very true. In OTB chess, when I play 1400-1600 players, they are
very rarely still in their book after 5-8 moves have been played, except
in very popular lines like Sicilians and King's Indians, where even low rated
players are often well booked. So, such an handicapping option would be very
useful for training purposes when playing the program. In CM 3000, I used
that option a lot along with other asjustable parameters.

Ed, I know it does not fit in your chess programmer philisophy, but for
the next version of Rebel (Rebel 10 Windows?), would it be possible to implement
options to adjust the chess engine's parameters?

                                 Regards,
