I am also sorry to hear the Ed Schroder's retirement. I have always loved the Rebel programs, and his marketing ideas such as the freeware version Decade, support for ECTool and Epd2Diag have made him a successful producer in my eyes. After the demise of M-chess, Chess Genius, Rebel was the last program that was ChessBase free. Not that I dislike ChessBase products, some of which I like dearly, but being a monopoly is worse for the consumer in general. I wish Mr. Schroder the best and thank him for the wonderful programs that he developed.
