After initially trying to install to d:\chessmaster 9000 and the install hanging after completing 100%. I then tried installing to the default directories adding direct x 8.1 although it said I already had it. Same thing at the end of install I'm left with a blank CM set up screen that if I try to close it states CM 9000 set up not complete. Still in my first set up attempt d:\chessmaster 9000 all I got after I closed the set up was a single file in Chessmaster 9000 folder called Ubi1.exe. And although the files were in C:\program files\chessmaster 9000 after that install, upon closing it myself again I'm just left with a file Ubil1.exe nothing else? Also the files that were in c:\My Documents\Chessmaster 9000 have gone as is the folder. System Win 98 SE, 512 Mb ram, Asus A7V motherboard, ATI radeon 7000 video card. Sarah.
