The above worked and CM runs after letting it see disc 1.

On my other PC setup worked fine also had to use disc two for direct x 8.1
but even then I have a starting error D3D8.DLL is linked to missing export.

So finally 1 out of two not bad? So now I'll have to try and track down the
above problem see if I can get 2 for 2.

One thing I noticed on this PC i never got any install shield come up while on
the other I did.
