There should definitely be something in Control Panel\Sounds.

You are using XP, so go to "Control Panel -> Sounds, Speech and Audio Drivers ->
Change the Sound Scheme -> Sounds Tab". In the "Program Events" list, scroll
down until you see the "Chessmaster" section. There should be about 15 different
sound types, with 7 or 8 of those being game-specific sounds such as "White
Move", "Black Move", "Check", etc.
