He he he. As I know, it is not actually possible to ALWAYS beat ANY grandmaster, either from any other GM nor for any program! Even if it is what everyone is traying to achieve since the 1950's (?)... A grandmaster's brain is much more complicated than any algorythms or formulas and could not be reduced to that either. Even themselves could not describe/explain all their knowledge/abilities/experience. It is like doing bicycle or skating and trying to explain it to someone else and to translate it into a mathematic formula that would allow a computer to skate or run a bicycle! Serge Desmarais P.S. Why don't you go at the Rebel's site and download Rebel Decade 2.0? It is free, which doesn't mean it is not strong! And is has a LOT of features and options too! The ones you usually only find in expensive commercial programs. Extreme Chess, with both the Fritz 3.10 and Fritz 4.01 engines is about $20 in USA and is a very good choice too... Not to mention the FREE Crafty, which, it is true, has no interface with a graphic board, but could be linked with an external one. Serge Desmarais
