If Kasparov is a maniac he will not do well. If he tries to be a genius, he will not do well. His best results will be if he calms down and plays for tiny advantages and clear positions and avoids complications. I don't know if he can actually make himself do that very often, though. Probably his best preparation will be meditating or studying Zen or something like that.
