This is good news, IMO.  The chess programmers, especially those reaping
financial rewards from computer chess, will not wish to lose fans/customers.
Hence, they will feel enhanced motivation to "fix the problem," no matter how
difficult that might be.  That would be good for computer chess.  Not to suggest
that they are not motivated, but any additional prods can only be good news.
