Dear Mr. Roges: As coincidence would have it, I also am writing a chess program in QBasic. Version 1 is almost complete; when it is done I will let you know. I am going to donate all code to this and future versions to public domain, so you can take anything out that you want. Hope to have it available for download before the end of September. I am sure we can help each other out quite a bit. Good Luck!
