The idea is already mentioned right before the event in one of the first reports. That is simply a fact that you must wear sun glasses if you're outside. The T-shirts are from the organizers. But in the other aspect you're right. The whole exaggerations now after such a present shows lack of class. In tennnis the hype and bad behaviour come from the spectators but in chess the computer chess people do it themselves. The fact that Frans does such things, although he's always reported to be a gentleman, shows that he passed that border long ago already when he had that game against Tiviakov. However if you forget that the whole PR comes from ChessBase you are seduced to make a basic mistake. Frans is surely not the spin doctor who had this idea. This is someone else as we know... Speaking of bad taste, the Bluesbrothers are not as bad as the stuff ChessBase showed in the previews, the pictures with the Monsters from Space... They won't use them again because people could misunderstand the message ... that the monsters might have swallowed poor Fritz and not Kramnik - in "person" - - - :) Rolf Tueschen
