re points 1 & 5: mark could/should have made the statement stronger. it's true
that the question "can comps play at GM level" has been answered before. but GM
level and kramnik-level are two very different pairs of shoes! the last GM-fritz
match was huebner vs fritz, tied at 3-3, and although huebner is a strong player
of course he is no kramnik...
