I did not ask if Chessmaster 6000 still used the King 2.55 engine. I called Mindscape 3 times. The 1st two times I called they did not even know what an engine was. Although the first guy said the AI was slightly improved. This is highest technical Mindscape phone number I could receive. You might try the number yourself at: 1-423-670-2040 BTW, Last time I visited the Chessmaster web site they said a lot about Chessmaster 6000, but nothing about the engine.
