Your right my sponsors at the time were very good and could be proven:

1. OA Computer Group unfortuantely has went out of business. They were to lend
computer to participants in return for advertising. At the time they were very
interested. They chose to turn to more of an internet based business and dropped
off. To bad.. they were a good company.

2. The FantasyLand Hotel has been renamed to the GalaxyLand Hotel. Gene Kachar
the hotel manager died some months ago.. but I am sure you could find out
information still. They were to be the venue. And the accomodations for the
participants. Alan Ghermazian is the son of the owner of the mall. A personal
friend. He was my contact there.

3. At the time I stopped working on the tournament, I was having productive
meetings with Marlin Travel to help cover the costs of the European players
coming over.

4. All the "entry fees" that might have been assessed were going to local chess
groups to have children learn the game.

I even contacted some of _your_ people that you wanted involved. You know I did.
I can not remember the names now but you wanted the husband and wife team to be
tournament directors. Since I was only fooling around I thought I would just
contact them anyway.... just for kicks.

I even had conversations with Grandmasters about attending to play as well as
give analysis. Alexander Heine off ICC was one of them.

All in all Vincent.. your right.. I wasn't serious.. and I was just wasting my
damn time.

I really hope one day we get to meet. I would so enjoy that.

I would do the one thing that most here wouldn't.. I would kick your sorry ass
all the way back to Europe.

Peter.
