Hi,

Yesteday I called Dell computer--the section for Business computers and I asked
them to build me a top computer so i can use it to run the top Chess engines.
The reason i asked for this specific computer is because i read that Deep Fritz
7 worked best on a mutli-processors Computer and was 80% faster than on a
computer with a single processor. So i was wondering if it was possible for
those of you who have better knowledge on the Deep Fritz 7 program and computers
can help me with suggestions, advices and informations.

Here's the computer

Base Unit: 2.80 Ghz/400 Front side Bus Xeon, Dell precision 530 Minitower, 512K
Cache

2nd Processor, 2.80 Ghz Zeon, Dell Precision minitower 512k Cache

Memory: 1 Gb, PC800 @400 mhz, 4x256 Rambus Memory, Precision, Workstation 530

HardDrive: 4 GB IDE(ATA-100)#1 inch 7.2 RPM Precision Workstation 530

I am a die hard Chess fan and i may use this computer for many other things. But
i mostly intend to set up chess engines tournaments or create a computer account
in the top website so it can play there. Tell me what do you think and be frank.

Thanks, Pavel
