Shredder 7 is also "deep" as well. It will run on up to four processors, I believe. Fritz 8 can only be run on a single processor. For multiple processor machines you have to buy a separate Fritz program, currently Deep Fritz 7, apparently the same as Fritz 8, but for multiple, and single processors.
