That's easy to remedy. Before you update, make a copy of the original engine and keep it in a seperate folder. You can save all your older engine versions this way. I kept Fritz 7.0.0.2, 7.0.0.6, while 7.0.0.8 is in my engine folder along with Fritz 7 No MMX. Terry
