Prize fund "The Prize Fund is US $1 million with $500,000 honorarium to Garry Kasparov. The other half will be divided in the following proportion: the winner gets $300,000, the loser $200,000 and in the case of a tie $250,000 each." Well. Just like the Kramnik-Fritz matchup, this game will end in a draw as well. Heck, look at the HUGE difference between $250K for a win and $300K for a draw! What kind of nonsensical setup is that? Why not make the thing $1M winner take all, draw = $100,000. This is a sure setup to guarantee that all of us will be on the edge of our seats watching each game, only to feel ripped off in the end, as we all did with Kramnik's match! Shame on the people organizing these things. It's already been delayed over a year. Won't surprise me if they announce sometime soon that they're postponing it again until February or March, and moving the venue to Timbuktu.
