I went ahead and implemented it and I already found one significant bug that was causing unmoved pawns not to capture (at all!). Thanks for the suggestion. this should help me find the errors faster. I'm using it with your perft.exe program in Winboard and it makes finding the error much faster than doing it manually. Thanks Uri. Russell
