I said it before.  It was an intentional "dig".  And I happen to agree with
the comment.  He doesn't understand bitmaps.  He doesn't understand computer
architecture.  So his comments _are_ irrelevant in that regard...  Just
because bitmaps go 4x slower for _him_ doesn't mean they go 4x slower for
those of us that are really working with them...  and _all_ of us get tired
of the same old comments, over and over and over, with no factual basis, just
uninformed opinion...
