Not much to disagree on here. I do know that you have strong opinions. But the results are beginning to mount. Functional programming is no slower than imperative in theory. And the practice of it is catching up. Putting the question to the current 'high performance' languages is just an illustration of the current state of the art. MvH Dan Andersson
