I have looked at this quite a bit, and it seems to be all about a perpetual
check by black, if white plays Kxf2... but I am not completely sure this is
forced, because it is *VERY* deep.  It seems that Kg2 is probably what the
expected move is, which lets the black bishop provide a one-move shelter from
the checks to give white a chance to get the queen out of the hole in the corner
where it might help in avoiding the checks...

I let crafty run a long time after Kxf2 Qb3 and it finds some cute defenses to
perpetuals, although some are so very deep it might certainly overlook
something.
