I've put some thought into this over the last couple of days and decided to continue to support Winboard. The plan is to to give the engine I've been developing over the past nine months a new name, and continue development on Tristram where I left off at 3.36. I've already identified several areas I could improve upon, so 3.37 should be ready in a week or so. As for the newer engine, it will be named "GAlahad." The evaluation function will be trained by genetic algorithms. It won't support Winboard, but will interface ICC via a Java front end. I have no idea when this thing will be done. For now it is a "private" program. :-) --- James http://home.fda.net/~wzrdking
