There are other cases against humans when kasparov did bigger mistakes.
It is not a one ply error like the error of kramnik.

I believe that kasparov did not avoid winning on purpose.
There are 2 possibilities:

1)He saw the draw and was not sure about the win and did not want to take risks
when he was leading.

2)He did not see the draw when he played Qa1+ but only some moves later.

I do not think that the draw is a simple tactics for super GM's.

The point is to see that the sacrifice of the queen draw and it is possible that
he considered the sacrifice of the queen but did not see that Junior has a draw
by the sacrifice because of a move that he did not consider.
