For example, when Kasparov offered a draw after Rxc3 they bravely rejected it (I wouldn't). It was Kasparov who after losing the third match somewhat lost his self confidence and decided not to take risks for achieving victory. In all the four drawn matches the position was eaither a dead draw, or slightly better for Kasparov...
