Bob I think the 3.06 is just released I had ordered a dual 2.8 the day before then changed the order when i saw the 3.06's. I will have it by friday. No idea how it will perform. I opted for the 4 GB RAM and 4 148 GB SCSI drives for TBs. I guess i will know soon enough when i battle the dual amd systems on playchess. They average 2200 kNs with deep fritz 7. i believe I can exceed 3000 kNs with the xeons. > >hence the question I asked...
